What Can You Do?
As big as climate change may seem, we can all play a role no matter how big or small. Many world nation leaders have pledged to make their economies carbon neutral but they can't do it alone! Until you begin to play your role we will never be able to reach our global goal of limiting the increase in global temperatures to 1.5℃.
Help Promote the Systems Thinking Ideology
The education system only promotes linear thinking which is the idea that diseases and viruses are limited to Biology and that climate change is limited to Geography. Systems thinking however, encourages interdisciplinary learning. This will enable the next generation of scientists and world leaders to know about the importance and impacts of deforestation from a young age which could probably lead to better interactions between world leader and scientists. You can promote the systems thinking in so many ways whether if its in the form of a club at school or a community club!
Investigate!
What you can do to help reduce deforestation or climate change depends on so many factors and so it's up to you to investigate how you can help be it at home, school or in your community.
